Nelly Buchet (www.nellybuchet.com) is the author of many books for young readers, including ALA Notable selection Cat DogDog, which was chosen by children around the world as the winner of 2021’s Irma Black Award for Excellence in Children’s Literature. Nelly has always loved wolves. She wrote her first story about a wolf mother and her pups when she was four. Thankfully, her father helped transcribe it and it became, with time, the book before you know.
